WELLBEING FOR STUDENTS
Everyone has feelings and it is normal to not always feel 100% happy. Alembic highly values your wellbeing, and so does the University of Twente. Therefore, Alembic wants to refer you to the “Wellbeing for students” page of the University. This page can be accessed here.
A toolkit in case of doubts and concers about someone else’s wellbeing can be accessed here: Toolkit mental health.
This means that if you are struggling with something, or just want to get something off your chest, you can come to me and we can talk about it. If you’re a bit unsure with whom to talk about a situation or problem, going to a CCP is a nice option. I’m trained to be peer listener and will keep everything you share completely confidential. I will mostly just listen to you and to your story, and if you want, think about potential solutions with you or refer you to a professional.
If there is anything bothering you, or you just want to get something off your chest, Alembic has two confidential contact persons (CCP) who you can approach. This CCP is a fellow student who is trained to be a peer listener, and will keep everything you share completely confidential. They will mostly just listen to you and your story, and if you want, think about potential solutions with you or refer you to a professional. Our first contact person is Marit, you can reach her by sending an email to m.heezen@student.utwente.nl or just send a text via WhatsApp. Our second contact person is Myla, who you can contact by sending an email to m.m.neugebauer@student.utwente.nl or by sending a text via WhatsApp
