Twente membranes (Department of Membrane Science and Technology of University of Twente) works on innovative membrane solutions for water, food and energy related challenges with a strong focus on energy efficiency and recovery and valorization of resources. Twente membranes covers a diverse set of expertise in any research area within the membrane value chain: ranging from transport phenomena, surface chemistry, (polymer, inorganic and hybrid) membrane development, new applications up to process design.

The Department of Membrane Science and Technology consists of several diverse scientific research groups, and two of them also offered theses this year (click on the image below):
