Is it the same? Mimicking HEPA Filters on a Chip
Knowledge of the efficiency of the fibrous air filters under different conditions is important for the design of effective and efficient ventilation systems and masks. The goal of this master assignment is the experimentally investigated the efficiency of HEPA filters and mouth masks varying different parameters like the concentration of aerososl, the air velocity and the exposure time. The goal will be reached by using methods like 3D printing, microscopy and image analysis & simple modeling.
