Understanding filtration behavior of flexible particles as would occur in food incredients. From fundamental understanding to application in practical systems
Feeding the world with sufficient, healthy food requires sustainable production of food ingredients. The Membrane Processes for Food group uses membranes as a mild alternative to conventional methods, with research focusing on various levels ranging from the sub-micron component level to the meter level of actual processes as they would be used in practice. The work is carried out in close collaboration with SFI.
