Single Step Hollow Fiber Membranes with Polyelectrolyte Layer
Single Step Hollow Fiber Membranes with Polyelectrolyte Layer
The ‘chemistry in a spinneret’ technique has been used to create hollow fiber membranes comprising a polyelectrolyte dual layer in a single-step process. Different set of polyelectrolytes will be explore to achieve the highest retention perfomance possible, taking size and charge into consideration. In this study, the main objective is to expolore different polyelectrolytes pairs simultaneoulsy to the spinning process of the membranes. Apart from this, less hazardous substances want to be used during the spinning of hollow fiber membrane.
