Chemotechnisch Studentengenootschap Alembic is the study association of the bachelor Scheikundige Technologie and the master Chemical Engineering of the University of Twente. Her goal is to facilitate the interests of the students of Scheikundige Technologie and Chemical Engineering and in special her members. The association does this, for example, by supporting her members in their education, by giving them the opportunity to develop themselves in one of her many committees and by providing them educational and sociable activities.

Nederlandse Procestechnologen

NPT is the most important process technology community in The Netherlands with over 1800 members. NPT wants to promote knowledge and application of process technology, contacts between process engineers in The Netherlands and abroad. We want to stimulate the quality of knowledge in the field, quality of the process technology educations the possibilities for the members to keep learning in their discipline.

We understand process technology as the discipline to convert feedstocks into products on industrial scale, and sub disciplines are physical transport phenomena, separation processes, reactor engineering and equipment design, as well as process integration. Safety and environmental concern are indispensable elements in the profession.

Our motto is “Connect and Guide“, which we achieve through:

  • Regional and national activities
  • Collaborations with other organizations such as Institute for Sustainable Process Technology (ISPT) and the European Federation of Chemical Engineers (EFCE)
